• Tattapani: It is 52 km from Shimla and famous for hot sulfurous springs. You can enjoy fishing and playing in the water.
• Kufri: It is the hottest spot to be during winters, as everyone comes here to ski and throw snowballs at each other. Located at a distance of 16 km from Shimla at an altitude of 2500m above sea level, it attracts bands of ski enthusiasts from all over the country. The Himalayan nature park which is located here has a good collection of animals and birds found in the region.
• Naldehra: It is situated at an altitude of 6800 feet and is 27 km from Shimla on Shimla-Tattapani road. Naldehra comprises the oldest and the highest golf course in India. Its beauty has attracted the film industry and many Hindi movies have been shot here.
